Refund and Cancellation Policy for DS Holidays and Events 

This policy outlines the conditions under which cancellations and refunds will be processed for bookings made with DS Holidays and Events Tours and Travel.

1. Cancellation by Customer
Cancellation requests must be sent in writing (email/portal) quoting booking details.
Cancellation charges depend on timing before departure:

≥ 30 days Full refund*
15 – 29 days 50% refund
< 15 days No refund

*Less any administrative fees or third-party non-refundable charges. (This framework is commonly used by Indian tour operators and travel agencies.)

2. No-Show
No refund will be issued for no-shows on the departure date.

3. Supplier-Level Cancellations
Refunds for flights, hotels, or other services are subject to supplier policies and may be non-refundable.

4. Refund Processing
Refunds are processed within 14–30 business days to the original mode of payment.
Bank or payment partner processing times may vary.

5. Force Majeure
In cases of natural disasters, political unrest, epidemics, severe weather, or government restrictions:
DS Holidays may offer rescheduling or alternative arrangements.
Refunds depend on supplier rules and cannot be guaranteed.

6. Amendment Fees
Changes requested by the customer (dates, packages, names) may incur service fees and any price difference.

7. Travel Insurance
Customers are strongly advised to purchase travel insurance covering cancellations, medical emergencies, and loss of personal property.
